I haven't actually been to the restaurant yet but I ordered a salad from delivery and it was excellent. So bougie and delicious. It's seasonal so really hoping they have something else just as awesome next, lol. I had and have now ordered many times the Harvest Pear Salad with grilled chicken. The chicken is typical grilled chicken but the salad itself is AWESOME! There are so many goodies in it, they do not hold back at all. Absolutely the best salad I've had in Pittsburgh but then... I'm not interested in putting fries in my salad, lol. Definitely recommend and looking forward to going in person to try more!

This was our first visit to Coughlin's Law, a place I've seen countless times and always wanted to try. My brother mentioned that they're a brewery off the Mt. Nebo exit, which I hadn't realized. On our way to the Steelers' final home game, we decided to skip tailgating and stop here for a meal instead. We made a reservation and were seated right away. Parking is either street parking or a lot down the road if you're familiar with the area. It was a bitterly cold night, as we were heading to an 11-degree game. I asked about trying a flight, but the waiter informed me they don't offer that option. Instead, I ordered a Pale Ale and a Kölsch, both of which were solid choices. For my meal, I opted for a salad to keep it healthy, but unfortunately, I wasn't a fan--it just didn't hit the mark for me. On the other hand, my wife and son really enjoyed their meals. In hindsight, I should have picked something else. The vibe inside was great, though--definitely a good spot to watch a game. We'll definitely be back to give it another try!

Went here with a bunch of friends and had a great time! I had their winter ale and it was delicious. They have a wide selection of beer and cocktails. I was really impressed with their "mocktail" menu for dry January. They have a wide variety of bar foods. We got the crab Rangoon nachos and smoked pork belly bites for the table, both appetizers very unique and tasty. I got the coughlin's burger and would definitely recommend. Staff is very friendly and accommodating to our groups needs. I will be coming back very soon! This is a great place to take family or friends who are visiting Pittsburgh. Parking can be tricky so make sure you arrive early enough to find a spot. We ended up parking down the hill in a parking garage. Also, if you have a party larger than 9, they won't split the checks. Make a reservation because this place gets packed quick!

WOW! I've heard of this place for years and can't believe it took so long to get here. The view itself is just outstanding - gorgeous overlook of the city and the food was absolutely incredible! Sweet potato tots and the peach goat cheese salad is exactly what i would get next time as well. Although it was very busy, our server was quick and attentive. Great spot to sit outside when weather is nice!

Upon entering on a Friday night, this place was BUSY, but thankfully since we were just a party of two, we were seated right away. The chill was certainly in the air from the snow, but there were heaters on inside keeping it pretty cozy without overly warm and the wintery decorations all around were a lovely touch. Our server was very nice and attentive and the food and drinks were actually incredible. I had ordered the frozen peanut butter espresso martini and my partner ordered the sugar plum drink and both were dangerously good, they barely tasted like alcohol but they were certainly strong enough for us both to feel it after two drinks. We had both heard many good things about the crab rangoon nachos and I can absolutely say if you're getting anything on the menu, the nachos are where it's at. The plate is very large, between just the two of us, it filled us up as it's own entree! It's sweet and savory and the chunks of crab were soo good on the wontons. For my entree, I got the elote salmon and it practically melts in your mouth. Crunchy on the outside, flaky fall-apart goodness on the inside with a very hefty serving of rice. The sauce is creamy and has a subtle pleasant spicy kick. We barely touched our main courses after the nachos though, but that just meant we got to take them home and enjoy them all the more the next day! To top it all off, this place being on top of Mt Washington gives you a lovely view of the city inside and a fantastic opportunity to walk around to the overlook and take in even lovelier sights after you eat. I can't recommend this place enough, but with that said, with how busy it was, im not sure I'd come here during peak hours with more than one other person. Three or more people, prepare for a wait and maybe make plans to walk around a little first as it could be a while before you're seated.

Went yesterday right after work with a friend. We were seated immediately on the back patio. Our waitress was so nice and very helpful, also patient with us as we were too busy gabbing at first. I ordered their frozen cookie dough espresso martini, so good. We split their crab rangoon nachos which are always A++, I like this plating a lot better than their old plating as I found that more of the topping gets distributed to the bottom wontons. The waitress actually recommended this to me, asiago stuffed gnocchi and they were phenomenal. So light and fluffy!!

If you're looking for a fantastic spot to get into the autumn spirit, Coughlin's Law Kitchen and Ale House should be at the top of your list! I recently visited and was blown away by their seasonal drink options and cozy atmosphere. The espresso martini flight was an absolute showstopper. Each martini had a unique twist, balancing that rich coffee flavor with just the right kick--seriously impressive mixology that made it feel like a full experience in every glass. They also have an amazing selection of fall-themed drinks, with pumpkin and s'mores flavors. The ambiance was cute and welcoming, setting just the right mood for a relaxed night out. And if you're a pumpkin lover, do not skip the pumpkin beer--it was perfectly spiced, refreshing, and added another layer to their autumn vibe. Coughlin's Law does an amazing job bringing flavor and festivity together. Can't wait to go back!
